Burlington Northern
Santa Fe Railroad was formed with the
combination of the Burlington Northern
Railroad and the Santa Fe Railroad. The Santa
Fe Railway was known as the Atchison, Topeka,
and Santa Fe Railway (AT&SF) since 1863.
The Ski Train
departs from Union Station, at 17th and
Wynkoop in Denver, at 7:15 a.m. Ticketed
passengers begin boarding at 6:30 a.m. Tickets
for the trip are nonrefundable and
nonexchangeable.
The Great
Western Railway of Colorado runs on nearly
eighty miles of railroad track in Colorado.
Great Western makes connections with the Union
Pacific Railroad and the Burlington Northern
Santa Fe Railroad.
